Established in 1949, the Clearwater Branch of the American Association of University Women has been a part of the advancement of women through education for over sixty challenging years. Women and girls have benefitted from the work of this branch personally and professionally. We have been part of the community as contributors and leaders. We welcome women and men who advance equity for women and girls through advocacy, education, philanthropy, and research.
Our membership is open to all graduates who hold an associates or equivalent or higher degree from a qualified educational institution. Students enrolled in qualified educational institutions can enroll as members. Women and men who do not have these qualifications can be Friends of our Branch and help us encourage equity and education through our work together.
American Association of University Women (AAUW) is a nationwide network of more than 170,000 members and supporters, 1,000 branches, and 800 college/university institution partners.
For 130 years, AAUW members have examined and taken positions on the fundamental issues of the day — educational, social, economic, and political. Our commitment to our mission is reflected in all aspects of our work.
